"Had this rifle for about a week now. Probably one of the best out of the box performers, all thanks to the G2 gearbox, found in the SSG-1, and many other high end G&G rifles. Feels solid, good weight, and takes any magazines without a problem.
Some negative things about it:
There is no way to disable the cutoff feature, which prevents you from firing without a magazine in.(unless you go inside and remove the switch)
Hopup is meh, but works for now. (I'm using .28 bbs)
The advertised FPS is incorrect. Shoots 345-350 with .20 bbs.
I'm using an 11.1v 1450mah nunchuck from HPA. the gun actually rips with its trigger response. Can't wait to install a Jefftron Leviathan inside.
Overall, amazing gun for its price, G&G takes 1st once again!

"Awesome! Very accurate, and light. While there is no mag in the gun it will not fire, even when not on safety, so thats a nice safety feature. I like how light and compact the sr30 is, on top of being very accurate. Has a deans connection but comes with an adapter to taniya. One of my favorite guns so far.
Pros:
-Accurate
-Light
-Ambidextrous mag release
Cons:
-Price
-Battery space, with tamiya adapter can be a few too many wires to fit an 11.1 easily, takes some playing around to fit in the butt stock

"SR30 review
Small correction – the advertised FPS is 370-400 w/ a 0.20g BB on the SR30. This is incorrect and was most likely copy and pasted from the SR15. The actual chrono’d FPS is around 330-350 w/ a 0.20g BB. The RPS is around 22-23 w/ an 11.1 Li-ion 2000mah battery.
Gun is amazing out of the box and is a dream to shoot. The shop I bought mine from has sold upwards of 40 and none have come back defective. The gun needs absolutely no upgrades and has very decent room for the battery I listed previously. Unfortunately, to fit that battery the stock needed to be fully extended to position 6, which isn’t a huge deal as there is only 4 inches of difference between the stock on position 1 and position 6. Load up 0.25g if playing outdoors, the stock barrel and hop up is good enough to hit 100+ ft out. Too early to judge, but the ETU and the Mosfet should be able to handle the 11.1v without anything frying. Just don't full auto 400 rounds in one go and burn out the motor, try to keep full auto to reasonable bursts.
I haven't used the 3 or 5 round burst feature, seems kind of silly when you can just full auto the burst size you need but still cool features regardless.

"Just recently added this gun to my collection and I am definitely impressed. The new G2 gearbox is the smoothest cycling and I love shooting it. I will definitely be running it for some outdoor skirmishes this season. Shoots a perfect 385-395fps out of the box and I am pretty sure with some. 32s it will be right up around the 200ft of effective range that you expect to see out of a premium high priced airsoft gun. That is my main gripe with the gun. $380 is pretty steep but considering all top flight brands are now retailing around $350-$450 its not a horribly overpriced. The Knights Armamaent trades are nice to have but they aren't worth the extra $ in my opinion. Great build that is rock solid and just a great performing all around good airsoft gun. 9/10

"It’s probably the best if not the best airsoft carbine I’ve owned hands down. I run it with my 11.1 LiPo and the mag well is big and I suggest g&p’s high rps mags since they work great. I can easily touch people at 150 to 200 feet.

"Most definitely worth it, this is the best sounding/shooting airsoft gun I have ever held. Not only is it reliable but it also has incredible trigger response and a soild 25 rps with a titan 11.1v battery.

"Runs lovely stock version it don't need any upgrades the gun is accurate unless you want your bb's flying 100% straight, you'll need is to upgrade the inner barrel and the hopup.

"I’ve taken my sr15 apart 3-4 times to figure out the constant beeping of the mofset, I can’t even shoot my gun. If anyone has any suggestions that’d be great
