About LCT Airsoft When it comes to Airsoft externals, LCT is one of the most prolific brands on the market. LCT prides themselves in making some of the most realistic replicas in Airsoft through great attention to detail and by closely replicating the same manufacturing processes used to make their real firearm counterparts.LCT shows the same level of commitment for their AEG internals as their externals; the LCT gearboxes feature an enhanced list of parts users would typically upgrade to. These high performance, reinforced internals boast greatly improved reliability while still remaining completely Tokyo Marui (TM) compatible.

" I know there are pros and cons to EBB and I generally disable any EBB guns I get since they’re usually pathetic and the slight cons always outweigh the performance I typically focus on.
The G&G pneumatic is the least stressful but it’s a complete joke. I didn’t like the measly sounds that came clanking from them and I figured the non-steel charging handles had a slightly increased risk of snapping after a lot of use.
Some of the Ares ones were so-so. Not really fun but at least what I would generally consider as truly EBB.
The only one I was happy with was my BO Manufacture. MP40 (which should be SRC OEM).
Once I saw LCT’s video announcing these, I wanted one. Even with any cons, this looked like a fun EBB. I finally bought this gearbox for my LCT and I gotta say it is shocking how fun it is. I don’t even need to go play airsoft with it; shooting it in the house and feeling it and hearing it are impressive in itself. If you like GBB, this is your best bet. Boy, do I see why people say to loctite everything.
So about this; the listing currently shows it with a T2 torque motor but it comes with a T1. Converted for 11.1v, the T1 is approx. 30k and the T2 is approx. 36k. I am using an 11.1v for an outdoor setup and the ROF is nice. With a 7.4v, it’s far too slow.
After counting the teeth, the gears appear to be 31.9:1. Some LCT gears seem to do fine, others seem to rip apart, so we’ll see how long these last. If I need to swap, I may try 18s with a ZCI motor. The piston is all metal, unsurprisingly. Aluminum piston head and poly cylinder head. Their usual POM tappet. Standard o-ring nozzle. The EBBs have smaller bushings compared to their 9mm bearings. They were very close to a perfect shim job on mine.
Seeing how much… everything… shakes, I swapped my hop up to a Combat Union one which seems to keep in place a bit better. I noticed the arm shook a bit too much for my liking in the stock one. The only other thing I swapped was an ETU in place of the standard trigger contacts. Cycle completion didn’t quite seem to be as much of an issue as I thought but you could easily encounter the weird semi-auto hangup you occasionally see with V3s. I also may be glad it’s on an LCT. The entire thing being made of steel helps with the overall feel.
There are no institutions, but they do have a video. This may sound dumb until you see a random black piece in there and have zero clue on what it’s for. It is supposed to get shoved up under the rear sight leaf spring. I imagine this is for protecting the mock bolt from scratching on the metal edges there.
I cannot fathom wiring this to the front as some models have… this seems to be very specifically wired up and designed to be wired to the stock, which I like since it allows a good selection of batteries.
Beautiful recoil. Decent parts. Comes with everything you need. I am very pleased with it. If you believe the pros outweigh the cons with EBB (and want a fun EBB at that), then I can highly recommend this.
And again…. Loctite everything.
