I purchased this for matches and to switch from an AEG to a GBBR. Man, this thing is great. It's a GBBR and it takes time and care to keep it going smoothly, but once you get it all dialed in it feels great. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase and I am pleased to own it.
Pros:
- Full travel bolt
- Snappy Semi-Auto
- Quality Wood Furniture
- Full Metal
- Ergo Fireselector
- Heavy (Personally a pro for me)
- Head Turner
Cons:
- Expensive
- Loose Upper-Handguard
- Sling Ring does NOT fit Single Point Soviet Sling
- Cleaning Rod is difficult to remove
- Dust Cover can be somewhat difficult to put back on
Notes:
- If Shipped in the US, it comes with an M4 Birdcage Muzzle Adaptor

"Perfect Gun, kicks hard and has the toughness that a 500 dollar ak should, which is about as tough as the real steel, the only complaint i have is that the top wood furniture was loose but i could care less i love it.

"This is a great gun but mine came with loose furniture, it kicks really hard which is a good thing. Over all i would definitely recommend this gun.

"Bought March 4th, 2020.
Purchased with RA Tech upgrade trigger set that I installed immediately.
I LOVE THIS GBBR. By far my favorite I have ever owned.
First off out of the box this thing is far too hot for any field. 430fps with .3g bbs.
I had to cut down the nozzle valve spring in order to reduce FPS. I have 3 springs for different temperatures that I swap in as needed. I now shoot 1.3j 250fps with .40g bbs in 70*F weather (or 380fps with .20g bbs)
This needed a new bucking out of the box to lift heavy bbs. installed a 60* autobot bucking and can lift .40g bbs like a champ.
Installed a maple leaf crazy jet barrel because why wouldnt you its a GBBR. Groupings improved, fps went up a smidge
Pros
Full travel bolt
Semi-auto is snappy.
Recoil is not crazy heavy but is not soft either
Magazine capacity is 48bbs not 40. Gas capacity in 70*F gets me 200 shots on 1 fill of propane.
Weight is heavy which I like, Definite con for people who dont want a heavy gun.
Head turner and conversation starter.
Cons
Expensive... Gun is 430, Mags are 40, upgrade parts round out to like 160 or so.
Heavy gun and heavy mags
Requires Tender love and care to get working properly
Is a GBBR so required far more cleaning than an AEG.
Overall I do not regret my purchase and will be using this until I break it beyond repair.
This thing is just awesome to use and run around with. 10/10 WE tech.

"Slide and mag release were a little stiff, but if you lube the rails and magazine it should work perfectly.

"Holds up in the cold, clean, real construction methods and it creates a real Molot style AK

"purchased the steel mag version of this rifle a few weeks ago. below i will not the pro's and cons of the we tech ak47 gbbr.
i guess starting out with the pro's :D
the gun feels great, good weight, moving parts dont feel clunky, and no loose bits or jiggling. its very responsive, kicks with just enough power, and is very fun to shoot. if you're looking for a practical and nice looking ak. this may be your gun :)
but unfortunately like any gbbr or rifle in general, theres some issues.
first we'll start with the magazine. unlike other ak's ive owned, the mag seems to be slotted at a weird angle when trying to insert the magazine. now this normally wouldnt be an issue, but its a gbbr. so slotting it in at the wrong angle will expel all that gas you've just put into your freshly loaded magazine.
next would be the hop up. its very hit or miss. a friend of mine owns the same rifle in the bakerlite mag version. his hop up has no issues for the most part. mine feels a slight bit inconsistent however. could be chalked up to a manufacturing issue though.
now onto your nice orange flash hider. if you are going to remove this, PLEASE keep in mind that underneath that flash hider is a threaded outer barrel. be gentle with it. the rifle comes with a spare 101 style muzzle brake included. do not strip the threading and be sad when you cant put that nice full metal brake on it :(
my final thoughts:
i bought this as a piece for overall fun and not necessarily a daily driver on the field. it feels, looks, and preforms great! however the pricetag and lack of instructions for any sort of use with this rifle is disappointing to say the least. i am having a great time with the rifle so far and look forward to using it more in the future. overall a 4.5 stars out of 5. its everything i wanted and have no complaints other than the ones listed above :)
